      South Sarpy School District Number 46 has a new name. On Tuesday, the school board approved changing the name to Springfield Platteview Community Schools. The school board points out that all school districts in Nebraska are legally named by their county and school district numbers. However, school boards do have the discretion to determine an “also known as” name.
